Christmas season is the most memorable event that I will always be looking forward to and gift giving will never be forgotten during these seasons. Last Christmas I promised myself that my 13th month bonus will be allocated for gifts. I started to list down all my closest friends and family members and thought of the best gift to buy for them. It was quite stressful yet exciting. I bought them the things that they needed in their daily activities. I bought my parents a new cellphone since theirs were too old already. My siblings were also very happy on their new branded shirts, skirts and pants. I bought my co-workers promotional usb drives - I knew they were non-techies who wouldn't already own a USB drive, but would find them useful. It’s so overwhelming when you make other people happy and it doesn’t matter if you spent quite of what you have just to make your loved ones happy because of you. No matter what the gifts are for as long as it comes from within and doesn’t expect any return. |
